Frequently asked questions
Q. What is the grading and what do the different gradings mean?
A. As the majority of the phones we sell are customer returns they are deemed as second hand or nearly new. The reasons for return vary as does the length of time that the customer had the phone in use. For this reason we grade the phones so as to differentiate between stock that is in perfect condition still and those with some level of scratching or other visible signs of use.
Grade 1 - These phones are in 'new' condition. They do not have any scratches, marks or signs of previous use.
Grade 2 - These phones have minor scratches or marks on the screen, the back or frame. Some phones may have been reconditioned or software updated by a manufacturer approved service centre.
Q. Why were the phones returned? Were they faulty?
A. None of the phones were returned as faulty, however in subsequent testing we may have found an issue that has since been rectified. There may also be instances where a phone was sold with a software version that has since been upgraded, in these cases the phone may have gone through a software upgrade before being made available for sale.
Q. How do I claim warranty if something goes wrong with my phone?
A. The warranty is administered by Telegistics. If something does go wrong with your phone you can call our contact centre on 0800 8353447 and one of our customer care team will be happy to assist you.
Q. Do the phones come with a sim card?
A. All our cellphones are sold without sim cards unless otherwise stated.
